Quando ho cominciato a seguire Bella Aura su Instagram e ho visto per la prima volta Yasmine, la fondatrice del brand, ho pensato: “se lei usa i suoi prodotti ed è così bella, varrà veramente la pena provare questi prodotti”! Yasmine è la personificazione della filosofia di Bella Aura secondo cui “the deep glow from within that illuminates your complexion” (il bagliore che viene da dentro e che illumina la tua carnagione – traduzione mia). Yasmine, infatti, è una donna meravigliosa sia fuori (si vede subito) che dentro (quando inizi a parlarci – e non è assolutamente una di quelle fondatrici di brand che se ne stanno sul piedistallo a guardarti dall'alto in basso – scopri che è una persona molto forte, intraprendente, dolce, disponibile, che ama i suoi bellissimi gatti GJ e Geisha, che pensa al prossimo ed è molto generosa).

A proposito di generosità, Yasmine è stata molto gentile con me e si è offerta di inviarmi un Essential Energy Boosting Kit, ovvero un set contenente tutti i prodotti di Bella Aura in formato da 10 ml. Me l'ha inviato dal Canada (dove Bella Aura ha sede) e il mio pacco è andato perduto (non mi dire!! Di solito le poste italiane funzionano così bene * ironica *), tuttavia Yasmine non ha desistito e, quando è venuta in viaggio in Europa, ha portato con sé un kit da inviarmi (che mi è arrivato). Tra l'altro questo set è un regalo di Natale perfetto perché vi permette di provare tutti i prodotti e capire cosa vi piace di più. Prima di dedicarci ai prodotti e alla mia esperienza con loro, è necessario concentrarci su alcuni concetti basilari che sono il cardine di Bella Aura, a mio avviso. Di solito non faccio molta attenzione alla filosofia e alla mission delle aziende, non perché non mi importi, ma perché normalmente è sempre la stessa solfa. Con Bella Aura è impossibile, invece, ignorare questo aspetto: in un mondo cosmetico in cui viene privilegiato ed osannato un numero assurdo di step nella routine di bellezza quotidiana e, di conseguenza, un altrettanto assurdo numero di prodotti (che cambiano spesso in base al giorno o al periodo), Bella Aura persegue e difende l'idea che less is more (letteralmente “meno è di più”, espressione che sta a significare, in questo caso, che meno si prodotti si usano e meglio è).

Come si può leggere sul sito di Bella Aura: “Vogliamo eliminare la confusione esistente nell'industria della bellezza semplificando lo stile di vita. Preferiamo avere pochi prodotti che funzionino, piuttosto che tanti non servono a nulla” (traduzione mia). Bella Aura è nata perché Yasmine in passato ha avuto problemi con la sua pelle e, pur usando molti prodotti diversi, non ha visto alcun miglioramento e ha deciso così di creare la sua linea cosmetica, composta da prodotti altamente concentrati e da pochi e semplici passaggi.

Inoltre Yasmine dà un saggio consiglio che io condivido assolutamente e che trovo dovrebbe essere d'ispirazione per tutti: “Il mio consiglio a tutti è quello di ascoltare la propria pelle. Il fatto che altri usino certi prodotti e che ci si trovino bene non significa per forza che questi prodotti funzioneranno anche per voi. Il mio segreto di bellezza è far 'digiunare' la pelle una o due volte a settimana. Al mattino lavate il viso solo con acqua poiché una detersione eccessiva può privare la pelle della sua barriera naturale. Non indossate trucco. Credo fermamente che degli step semplici possano cambiare la vostra pelle in meglio.” (traduzione mia)

La linea

Vorrei cominciare a parlare dei prodotti sottolineando quello che hanno in comune visto che, ancora una volta, ciò richiama l'idea di semplicità che supporta Bella Aura.

La consistenza → i cinque (per ora, ma qualcosa di nuovo potrebbe essere in cantiere...) prodotti possono essere descritti come “serum in a cream” - siero in (una) crema – come ho detto qui, quando ho parlato brevemente dell'Instant Lifting Eye Contour, questi prodotti hanno l'aspetto di creme, sembrano sieri e funzionano come se fossero un mix delle due cose, pur essendo leggeri come sieri. Sembra strano, me ne rendo conto, ma questa è una delle loro peculiarità ed è ciò che li rende adatti a tipologie di pelle diverse (anche se ogni prodotto, come vedrete, è ideale a combattere uno specifico problema o più problematiche). Detto questo, se state pensando che la consistenza sembra la stessa per ogni prodotto, beh avete ragione! Anche io sono rimasta sorpresa, ma è vero.

Ingredienti base → avrete senz'altro notato la parola kamilah nel titolo del mio articolo e potreste non conoscerne il significato, nemmeno io lo conoscevo, ma – poiché sono una patita di lingue straniere – ho subito cercato il significato e non è stato difficile, dato che viene spiegato anche sul sito di Bella Aura. Kamilah è una parola araba che significa completo, perfetto e la miscela Kamilah di Bella Aura si riferisce proprio ad alcuni ingredienti di base, che si trovano in tutti e cinque i prodotti:

- olio di argan – ricco di tocoferolo, vitamine A ed E, steroli, carotenoidi, acido ferulico, polifenoli, prostaglandine e l'80% di acidi grassi essenziali, rende la pelle più radiosa e giovane;

- estratto di cereus grandiflorus, chiamata anche “regina della notte” – contiene vitamine A-B e il complesso C-D-E-F-K, omega 3-6-9 ed è anche ricco di minerali e betacarotene, è una barriera naturale contro il danno causato dai radicali liberi;

- olio essenziale di neroli – ricco di vitamina C, rinomato per le sue proprietà anti-age, è utile a combattere l'acne e le imperfezioni;

- olio di nigella sativa o cumino nero – estremamente ricco di antiossidanti, aiuta a depurare e rigenerare la pelle.

Fragranza → tutti e cinque i prodotti Bella Aura odorano sostanzialmente di neroli, che è, secondo me e secondo l'aromaterapia, un profumo che aiuta a migliorare il morale, confortante. Il neroli è il fiore di arancio e il suo profumo particolare è uno splendido mix di note agrumate (ma non acidulo) e floreali/dolci. Nei prodotti Bella Aura la fragranza è ancora più piacevole del solito neroli ed è anche piuttosto persistente. Devo essere onesta, il profumo è la prima cosa che ho amato intensamente di questa linea. Non ci sono profumi aggiunti: l'odore di neroli è dato dall'olio essenziale, appunto.

Quantità di prodotto necessaria → quando ho ricevuto il set, sono sincera, ho pensato che mi sarebbe durato talmente poco da non poter avere alcun tipo di opinione e che, al massimo, avrei potuto dire qualcosa su consistenza e profumo. Invece, ho dovuto ricredermi. Probabilmente proprio in ragione del fatto che si tratta di prodotti molto concentrati, la quantità necessaria di prodotto (e vale per tutti) è irrisoria. Ho utilizzato – senza parsimonia – tutti i prodotti per un mese e mezzo, quotidianamente e due volte al giorno, ad eccezione del detergente che è terminato dopo poco meno di un mese (anche perché in un paio di occasioni ho ceduto alla tentazione di usarlo come maschera) e nessuno dei tubetti è ancora del tutto vuoto.

Gentle Purifying Cleanser

Il detergente sostanzialmente è identico, come abbiamo detto, alle altre emulsioni di Bella Aura per la cura del viso, non ha altri attivi oltre alla miscela Kamilah e in più ha, ovviamente, due tensioattivi delicati.*

Ho trovato il detergente molto delicato, sebbene forse un po' troppo purificante per la mia pelle (quando l'ho usato stavo ancora attraversando una fase in cui la mia pelle era tendenzialmente secca, tenetelo a mente, a proposito). Usato come maschera (è stata una mia iniziativa) l'ho trovato estremamente piacevole e rilassante, inoltre la pelle dopo risultava molto morbida e luminosa. Probabilmente se avessi il flacone intero da 100 ml userei più spesso questo detergente anche come maschera.

*[uno di questi purtroppo, insieme ad uno dei conservanti, non è del tutto biodegradabile. Ci tengo a dire che trovo non sia un grosso problema, considerato che moltissima gente dice di usare solo cosmetici verdi e poi usa su base quotidiana e in quantità molto maggiore oli da bagno, salviette umidificate o panni in microfibra (ovvero plastica) non biodegradabili – cosa che io non faccio normalmente –che hanno certamente tutti un effetto di gran lunga più inquinante – perciò cerchiamo di essere coerenti e di guardare le cose in modo equilibrato)]

Daily Repair Moisturizer

- pensato per una pelle che non è in buone condizioni, secca, che si screpola e per le macchie scure

Sebbene i prodotti di Bella Aura non siano classificabili come i cosmetici normali, in ragione di ciò che ho spiegato prima relativamente alla loro consistenza, questo prodotto sarebbe il corrispettivo di una crema giorno.

È una crema giorno idratante che aiuta ad impedire la perdita di acqua (che normalmente è la causa della pelle secca), grazie all'estratto di avena nera, e a minimizzare le macchie scure sul viso, grazie all'estratto di margherita. Inoltre, la lecitina e la vitamina E vanno a coadiuvare la funzione idratante dell'avena nera, penetrando in profondità e svolgendo un'azione anti-age.

Si tratta di un prodotto che mi è piaciuto molto e che ho trovato perfetto anche come base per il trucco, proprio perché non è assolutamente untuoso e grasso. Non so se funziona sulle macchie perché credo che un mese e mezzo sia comunque poco per vedere un effetto, ma posso senz'altro dire che rende la pelle molto luminosa ed uniforme e che protegge dalle aggressioni esterne (non ho avuto problemi anche nei giorni di vento forte, che da noi sono la normalità).

Antioxidant Booster

- pensato per la pelle spenta, stanca e stressata, l'acne e le macchie scure

Ho amato tutti i prodotti di Bella Aura, ma ovviamente c'è esiste sempre un preferito. Nel caso di Bella Aura io ne ho tre! L'Antioxidant Booster, che è un prodotto davvero particolare, è uno dei tre, appunto.

Non si tratta di un siero perché in fondo tutti i prodotti di Bella Aura sono anche un siero, non è un prodotto solo per la sera e nemmeno solo per la mattina. Inizialmente non sapevo bene come utilizzarlo, anche perché Bella Aura lascia liberi di utilizzare i prodotti come meglio si crede (ricordate cosa dice Yasmine? Sempre ascoltare la propria pelle...), anche mescolandoli eventualmente. In un primo momento lo usavo come un siero ovvero prima del Daily Repair Moisturizer o prima del Night Cellular Renewal, ma poi, parlando con Yasmine, ho trovato il posto dell'Antioxidant Booster nella mia routine: il prodotto del pomeriggio!

Forse sapete già che se sono a casa a pranzo mi strucco sempre e applico qualcosa per idratare la pelle. L'Antioxidant Booster ha preso questo posto nella mia routine e le volte che, invece, sapevo non l'avrei potuto usare di pomeriggio, ne ho mescolato una goccia con il prodotto per il mattino e una con il prodotto per la sera oppure con l'Instant Lifting Eye Contour. L'acido romarinico, contenuto nell'estratto di melissa, è fortemente antiossidante e aiuta a combattere i radicali liberi, la rutina, un glicoside flavonico, stimola la produzione di collagene e ha un effetto protettivo contro il danno ossidativo causato dall'esposizione al sole (un abbinamento perfetto con l'estratto di margherita nel Daily Repair Moisturizer), l'estratto di orzo è ricco di selenio, zinco e manganese, protegge dal danno dei radicali liberi e rende la pelle più elastica. Sostanzialmente questo prodotto è complementare ai due prodotti giorno e notte della linea: l'Antioxidant Booster protegge dai danni futuri, il Daily Repair Moisturizer e il Night Cellular Renewal riparano i danni già presenti.

Night Cellular Renewal

- pensato per pelle matura, stanca, stressata, per rughe profonde, ma anche per pelle meno segnata

Il Night Cellular Renewal e il Daily Repair Moisturizer sono senz'altro una coppia perfetta. Entrambi contengono, infatti, ingredienti che aiutano a minimizzare e a tenere a bada le macchie scure. Nel Night Cellular Renewal, la L-Glutammina stimola la produzione del collagene, svolgendo così un ruolo fondamentale nella rigenerazione delle cellule del fibroblasto, ha proprietà schiarenti e illuminanti. Il prodotto è arricchito anche da due erbe miracolose – lo rivelano i loro soprannomi – Gynostemma Pentaphyllum o jiaogulan, chiamata erba dell'immortalità in Cina, molto rivitalizzante ed energizzante, dona alla pelle idratazione ed elasticità, e il Cistus Incanus o cisto rosso, conosciuto anche come pianta della bellezza, è un grande alleato contro l'ossidazione ed è dunque un ottimo ingrediente anti-età.

Questo prodotto, che dovrebbe essere l'equivalente della crema notte (ma è perfetto, per esempio, anche come crema contorno occhi) è un altro dei miei prodotti preferiti perché rende la mia pelle molto luminosa e priva di imperfezioni quando mi sveglio la mattina. La pelle risulta idratata come se avessi applicato un olio o un balsamo, ma non unta o lucida sulla zona T.

Instant Lifting Eye Contour

- pensato per il contorno occhi delicato e stanco, stressato e che presenta occhiaie, gonfiore e disidratazione

Santa Lucia, la santa protettrice degli occhi

L'Instant Lifting Eye Contour è ricco di oleuropeina, un polifenolo contenuto nell'estratto della foglia di ulivo, aiuta a rinnovare le cellule dell'epidermide e questo naturalmente contribuisce a ridurre il numero di proteine dannose per la pelle. Il jujube o dattero cinese, ricco di vitamine (A, B2 e C) e di minerali come il ferro, il manganese, il potassio, il fosforo, lo zinco e il rame, è un ulteriore aiuto contro l'ossidazione, dal momento che è una difesa contro la degradazione delle proteine nelle cellule ed è inoltre una vera esplosione di freschezza (estremamente utile sul contorno occhi). Il levano, un polisaccaride ad alto peso molecolare, che si ottiene dalle piante come l'agave, ha proprietà riparatrici e idratanti ed è in grado di creare una sorta di film tensore sulla pelle (alzi la mano chi desidera un contorno occhi più disteso!)

Per comprendere la mia esperienza con questo prodotto, iniziamo da qui: Bella Aura promette che l'Instant Lifting Eye Contour è in grado di ringiovanire il contorno occhi di 6 anni in soli 4 giorni. Naturalmente all'inizio ero scettica. Non pensavo che il tubetto potesse durare molto e che non riuscivo nemmeno a ricordare che aspetto avesse il mio contorno occhi quando avevo 26 anni per fare un paragone. Quindi ho cercato di ricordare almeno le circostanze. Quando avevo 26 anni sarei partita presto per l'Austria e lì avrei poi completato definitivamente la mia conversione alla cosmesi naturale... e il primo prodotto totalmente naturale che acquistai lì fu proprio una crema contorno occhi perché il mio contorno occhi mi sembrava orrendo a causa delle occhiaie (non volevo mai uscire senza correttore). Dunque, essenzialmente, il mio problema sono sempre state le occhiaie e il contorno occhi non molto luminoso. Ovviamente di recente ho assistito anche alla comparsa di fastidiose leggere rughe o, meglio, segni (ho 32 anni, non sono comunque più una fanciulletta). Il contorno occhi è stato benissimo per tutto il tempo in cui ho utilizzato l'Instant Lifting Eye Contour e ho iniziato anche ad andare in giro senza correttore alcune volte. L'effetto è visibile anche ora che non lo uso più tutti i giorni, ogni tanto ne applico una goccina e il giorno dopo la zona è già più distesa e luminosa. È difficile descrivere la sensazione della propria pelle che sta bene perché di solito è più una cosa che uno pensa di vedere con gli occhi (soltanto).

La parte migliore dei prodotti Bella Aura è che sembrano qualcosa di normale per la pelle, qualcosa che le è familiare, che la pelle riconosce automaticamente e gli effetti sono visibili soprattutto col cuore, per così dire. Usando questi prodotti ci si sente belle, non c'è bisogno di guardarsi allo specchio, ma se si decide di farlo, ci si vede anche belle.

Qualcuno (…) ha detto “[...] si vede solo con il cuore. L'essenziale è invisibile agli occhi.” Bella Aura è una linea cosmetica che la nostra pelle può sentire attraverso il cuore e vedere con gli occhi!

When I began to follow Bella Aura on Instagram and I first saw Yasmine, the brand's founder, I thought: “if she uses her skincare products and is so beautiful then it's worth using these products”! Yasmine is the personification of Bella Aura's philosophy: everyone's Bella Aura (beautiful aura) is “the deep glow from within that illuminates your complexion”. In fact she is a stunning woman, outside (immediately visible) and inside (as soon as you start talking to her – and she's not that kind of brand founder who feels she can stand on her pedestal looking condescendingly at others – you discover she is a really strong, resourceful, sweet, helpful person, loves her cats, GJ and Geisha and who cares about other people and is very generous).

Speaking of generosity, Yasmine was really kind and offered to send me her Essential Energy Boosting Kit, which is a set containing all Bella Aura Skincare products in 10 ml size tubes. She sent it from Canada (where Bella Aura comes from) and my parcel got lost (no way!! The Italian post is usually sooooo good * ironic *), nevertheless Yasmine persisted and when she travelled to Europe last summer she took with her one set to send to me (and it safely arrived).

The Philosophy 

Before going straight the products and to my experience with them, a focus on some basic concepts behind Bella Aura are needed, in my opinion. I don't usually pay much attention to companies' philosophy and mission, not because I don't care but because they're often all the same. With Bella Aura, I can't ignore this aspect: in a cosmetic world that privileges and praises an exaggerated number of steps in a daily beauty routine and subsequently a huge number of products (that often change based on the day or on the period), Bella Aura pursues the idea that less is more.

As it can be read on their website: “We want to take the confusion that exists in the beauty industry by simplifying lifestyles. We'd rather have a few products that work, than lots of products that don't”. Bella Aura was born because in the past Yasmine had skin issues that wouldn't heal, despite she tried many different treatments, and she decided to develop her own skincare, made of highly concentrated products and therefore a few simple steps.

Moreover she wisely suggests everybody (and I couldn't agree more) not to overdo with skincare: “My advice to everyone is to listen to your skin. Just because someone is using a product, it might work fine for them, however it doesn't mean it's a going to do the same for you. My skincare secret is skin fasting once or twice a week. Wash your face with only water in the morning because excessive washing can really strip away your natural moisture barrier. Go makeup less. I strongly believe simple steps can change your skin for the better.”

The Range

I'd like to start talking about the products by saying what they have in common, since this once again recalls the idea of simplicity behind Bella Aura.

The texture → Bella Aura's five (for now, but something may be in the works...) products can all be defined as “serum in a cream” – as I explained here, when I briefly talked about the Lifting Eye Contour, they look like creams, they feel like serums and they work as a mix of both but being lightweight as a serum. It definetely sounds weird but that's their peculiarity. These products were developed to combine the best qualities of both creams and serums and for this reason they are also suitable for different skin types. That being said, if you are thinking that their textures look the same, well you're right! I was surprised too but it's true.

Basic ingredients → you will surely have noticed the word kamilah in the title and you may not know what it means, I didn't either but since I'm a language freak, I made sure to look it up right away and it was easy because it is explained on Bella Aura's website. Kamilah is an Arabic word meaning complete, perfect and the Kamilah blend by Bella Aura refers to some basic ingredients, which can be found in every product of the range:

- argan oil – rich in tocopherol, vitamins A & E, sterols, carotenoids, ferulic acid, polyphenols, prostaglandins and 80% of essential fatty acids, makes skin more radiant and more youthful;

- cereus grandiflorus extract – also called “queen of the night”  it contains A-B Complex-C-D-E-F-K and omega 3-6-9 fatty acids and is also rich in minerals and beta carotene, acts as a natural barrier against free radical damage;

- neroli essential oil – rich in vitamin C, it is renowned for its anti-aging properties and it is useful to fight acne and blemishes;

- nigella sativa or black cumin oil – extremely high in antioxidants, it helps to detoxify and regenerate.

Moreover Bella Aura always chooses the ingredients with the highest quantity of vitamins and antioxidants in order to make them more concentrated and a real anti-age boost.

Scent → all five Bella Aura products essentially smell like neroli, which is, in my opinion and also according to aromatherapy, an uplifting smell, a real mood-enhancer. Neroli is actually the organge blossom and its peculiar smell is an exquisite mix of citrusy (but not zesty, I'd say) and floral/sweet notes. In Bella Aura products the scent is even more pleasant than the usual neroli scent and it is quite persistant. I have to be honest, the scent was the first thing I intensely loved about this range. There are no added perfumes: the neroli scent is due to neroli essential oil.

Necessary quantity of product → when I received the set, to tell you the truth, I thought it would have been enough just to get some first impressions about the scent and texture of the products. But I was wrong. Probably this is so because these products are highly concentrated, the quantity of product one needs is really small. I used every product on a daily basis – not parsimoniously – for one month and a half, except the cleanser that lasted a bit less than one month (even because I used it as a face mask a couple of times) and none of the tubes is totally empty yet.

Gentle Purifying Cleanser

This cleanser's texture is essentially identical to the other Bella Aura skincare emulsions, it does not contain any other active ingredients other than the Kamilah blend and it features instead, of course, two mild surfactants.*

I found the cleanser really gentle, although it was a bit too purifying for my skin (when I used it my skin was quite dry, don't forget about this detail, by the way). When I used it as a face mask (I decided to try the product like this as well) it was very pleasant and relaxing and my skin looked radiant and felt soft after that. If I had had the 100 ml bottle I would probably have used this cleanser as a mask more often.

*[one of them, unfortunately, together with one of the preservatives is not totally biodegradable – it is really important for me to underline that this is no big deal. Many people use, for example, bath oils, remove makeup with wet wipes or microfiber cloths (a.k.a. plastic) on a daily basis and in huge quantites, while I don't, and these surely have a much worse impact on the environment – so let's try to be coherent and to look at things in a balanced way]

Daily Repair Moisturizer

- designed for dry, flaky, unhealthy skin as well as dark spots

Even if Bella Aura products cannot be classified like traditional cosmetic products, because of their peculiar texture and characteristics I described above, this could be the equivalent of a day cream.

It is a hydrating day cream that helps avoid water loss (which is responsible for dry skin), thanks to black oats extract, and to minimize dark spots, thanks to daisy flower extract. Moreover lecithin and vitamin E, in synergy with black oats, penetrate deep into the skin and have an anti-aging effect.

It's a product I really enjoyed using and I find it perfect as a makeup base too, since it's not oily or greasy at all. I don't know if it works with dark spots because one month and a half is probably not enough, I guess, but what I can say is that, together with the other products in the range, it really makes skin radiant and more even and it protects from external aggressors (I didn't have any problems on those terribly windy days, which are normal here).

Antioxidant Booster

- designed for dull and overworked skin, acne, dark spots and tired skin

I loved all of Bella Aura products but of course one always have a favorite. In my case, it's not only one, there are three favorite products! And the Antioxidant Booster, which is a special product, is one of these.

It's not a serum, because actually all of Bella Aura products are, it's not a day or night cream. At first I didn't know how to use it, even because Bella Aura is not at all prescriptive as for the use of its products and let you use them as you please (can you remember what Yasmine said? Always listen to your skin...), also mixing them. At the beginning I used it as a serum, that is before the Daily Repair Moisturizer or the Night Cellular Renewal but then, talking wit Yasmine, I found the right place in my routine for the Antioxidant Booster: the afternoon product!

Maybe you already know that, if I'm home for lunch, I always remove makeup and then hydrate my skin. The Antioxidant Booster became part of this afternoon routine and every time I knew it wouldn't be possible for me to use it like that I mixed a drop of it with some other Bella Aura product both at night and in the morning. Romarinic acid, from lemon balm extract, is highly anti-oxidant and helps fight free radicals, rutin, a flavonoid glycoside, stimulates collagen production and it has a protective effect against the oxidative damage caused by sun exposure (a great combo with the daisy flower extract in the Daily Repair Moisturizer), barley extract, rich in selenium, zinc and manganese, protects from free radical damage and makes skin more elastic. This product is complementary to the two products for the morning and night routine: the Antioxidant Booster protects from possible future damage, while the Daily Repair Moisturizer and the Night Cellular Renewal restore the already damaged skin.

Night Cellular Renewal

- designed for mature, tired and stressed skin, deep wrinkles and fine lines

The Night Cellular Renewal and the Daily Repair Moisturizer are definitely a match made in heaven. Both contain active ingredients that help minimize dark spots and to keep them at bay. In the Night Cellular Renewal, L-Glutamine stimulates collagen production and plays therefore an important role in the regeneration of the fibroblast cells, it has whitening and brightening properties. It is also enriched by two wonder herbs – their nicknames say it all – Gynostemma Pentaphyllum or jiaogulan, also know as the immortality herb in China, highly revitalizing and energizing, it gives skin hydration and elasticity, and Cistus Incanus or hoary rocky rose also known as the plant of beauty is a great ally for skin defence against oxidation and it is therefore a great anti-aging ingredient.

This product, which should be the equivalent of a night cream (but it is also perfect as an eye contour cream, for example), is another one of my favorite products because it made my skin look really radiant and flawless when I woke up in the morning. The Instant Lifting Eye Contour is rich in Oleuropein found, a polyphenol found in Olive Leaf Extract it helps skin cells to renew and this of course contributes to reduce the number of damage proteins in the skin.

To grasp my experience let's start from this: Bella Aura claims that the Instant Lifting Eye Contour rejuvenates the eye area by 6 Years within 4 weeks. Of course I was skeptical at first because I didn't think that this small tube may last so long and beacause I can't remember how my eye contour looked like when I was 26. So I tried to remember the circumstances at least. When I was 26 I would soon move to Austria and there I would begin my permanent transition to green beauty (before that I only occasionally used green cosmetic products)...and my first green product was an eye contour cream because I felt my eye contour looked horrible because of dark circles (I didn't want to go out without some concealer on). So basically my issue has always been dark circles. Of course I have recently experienced some bothersome fine lines too (now I'm 32 so anyway not a kid).
