Here we are with the third part about Saach Organics! If you missed the first two articles, the first, introductory part and the presentation of the first product I tried and the second part, about the hair care products, click here (first part) and here (second part). Today we are talking about the body care products that I had the opportunity to try.
Lozione mani e corpo alla menta & rosmarino
Questo prodotto è particolarmente adatto alla stagione che sta arrivando perché si tratta di una crema dalla consistenza piuttosto fluida (ma non troppo: non cola via mentre la si applica), facile da spalmare, che non lascia scia bianca e che ha un piacevole e rinfrescante odore di menta (il rosmarino si sente poco, è giusto una nota appena accennata) - entrambi gli odori sono dovuti alla presenza degli oli essenziali di menta e rosmarino, non a profumi artificiali! This product is particularly suitable for the upcoming season because it's a cream with a quite fluid texture (but not too much: it does not drib while you are applying it), easy to rub it into your skin, it does not leave a white caste and it has a pleasant and refreshing mint smell (rosemary is hardly perceivable, it is just a hint) - both smells are due to mint and rosemary essential oils, not to artificial fragrances!
La crema di Saach Organics idrata grazie ad oli vegetali con caratteristiche diverse e fanno sì che la crema sia quindi adatta a tipi di pelle diversi:
olio di mandorle, adatto alle pelli più secche olio di jojoba, un olio leggero, idratante ma ideale alle pelli miste olio di oliva, ricco di acidi grassi e quindi nutriente ed emolliente, antiossidante olio di soia, un altro olio leggero ma idratanteSono presenti poi altri ingredienti idratanti: cera d'api naturale e glicerina.
L'effetto sulla mia pelle è assolutamente positivo: anche sulle gambe (dove ho la pelle secca) l'idratazione dura alcune ore.
This cream by Saach Organics hydrates the skin thanks to vegetal oils, which are different as for their characteristics and make therefore this product suitable for different skin types: almond oil, ideal for dryer skin jojoba oil, lightweight, hydrating, but perfect for combination skin olive oil, rich in fatty acids and thus hydrating and softening, antioxidant soybean oil, another lightweight but still hydrating oilOther hydrating ingredients are also present: natural beeswax and glycerin.
The effect on my skin is really good: also the skin on my legs (which is dry) remains hydrated for some hours.
Un vantaggio particolare di questa crema...Un aspetto che mi piace particolarmente è che il mentolo* contenuto nell'olio di menta, uno degli ingredienti fondamentali di questa crema, è efficacissimo nel lenire il prurito (di cui soffro, ahimé, soprattutto d'estate e con l'umidità). Spesso mi porto dietro (quando vado in vacanza), o comunque tengo a portata di mano, l'olio essenziale di menta da aggiungere alla mia crema per il corpo in caso di prurito (soprattutto dopo la doccia)...con questa non c'è bisogno!
*l'olio essenziale contenuto nella crema della Saach è ricavato da una varietà di menta che si chiama mentha spicata, chiamata "mentastro verde" in italiano. Si tratta della varietà di menta che, ibridata con la menta acquatica, dà la possibilità ottenere la menta piperita, la varietà forse più conosciuta. Nella mentha spicata la quantità di mentolo è più bassa rispetto alla varietà più conosciuta, ma è comunque quanto basta per lenire il prurito.
A plus of this cream...Something that I like in particular is related to one of the most important ingredients in the cream: the menthol* in the mint essential oil soothes itchy skin (my skin is often itchy, miserable me, especially during the summer and when there is a high humidity level). I usually take with me (when I go on vacation), or I have it at hand, mint essential oil to add it to my body cream in case my skin is itchy (especially after taking a shower)...with this cream there is no need to do this!
*the essential oil contained in this cream by Saach is obtained from a variety of mint that is called mentha spicata, called "spearmint" in English. It's a variety that, together with another variety, namely mentha aquatica or water mint, produces peppermint, maybe the most famous variety. In mentha spicata the amount of menthol is low compared to the amount found in peppermint, but it is nevertheless enough to soothe itchy skin.
Gel doccia tè verde e aloe vera
Questo gel doccia è uno dei due prodotti che Saach offre per la detersione del corpo (l'altro è il gel doccia menta e rosmarino che, però, non ho provato, potete dargli un'occhiata qui sul sito di Love Lula). Ricordo che quando ho letto "green tea" ho pensato "oddio avrà un odore insopportabile!", dal momento che di solito l'odore fresco tipico dei prodotti a base di tè verde non mi piace affatto. Con mia grande sorpresa, questo gel doccia ha un odore gradevolissimo: un misto di freschezza e dolcezza veramente ben bilanciato! Tra l'altro, il profumo persiste abbastanza a lungo (io lo penso anche dopo un paio di ore). Green tea and aloe vera shower gel
This shower gel is one of the two products that Saach offers in the section "bath & shower" (the other one is the mint and rosemary shower gel, which I haven't tried though, you can have a look at it here, on Love Lula ). I remember thinking, as I read "green tea" on the product, "oh my God, it will have an unbearable smell!", since I usually don't like the fresh smell of products containing green tea at all. To my surprise, this shower gel has a very pleasant smell: a balanced mix of freshness and sweetness! Among other things, the fragrance lasts for a long time (I can still smell it on my skin after two hours). La formula è veramente semplice: oltre ai tensioattivi di origine naturale e non aggressivi sulla pelle (in particolare, il glyceryl oleate crea una sorta di barriera che permette alla pelle di trattenere l'acqua e, dunque, l'idratazione) troviamo gli estratti di aloe, idratante e lenitivo, e di tè verde, antiossidante per eccellenza, e la glicerina, ingrediente dalle proprietà idratanti.
The product has a simple formula: besides the (not aggressive on the skin) surfactants of natural origin (a special mention goes to glyceryl oleate that creates a sort of barrier allowing skin to hold water and therefore hydration), aloe vera and green tea extracts are to be found, the first is hydrating and soothing, the latter is the antioxidant par excellence, glycerin adds more hydrating properties to this shower gel. Come potete vedere, ha questo bellissimo colore, un marrone brillante. Fa una bella schiuma soffice, ma nulla di eccessivo. As you can see, it has a nice brilliant color. It lathers well, but not excessively. 
La mia pelle non è secca dopo l'uso di questo gel doccia, infatti spesso non applico la crema (o non subito) perché voglio sentire il fantastico profumo del prodotto! 
Using this product does not dry up my skin and I actually don't always apply a body lotion after washing myself with it because I want to smell the product on my skin as long as I can! Compagni perfetti per l'estate e non solo...Oltre ad avere delle fragranze assolutamente ideali per l'estate, questi due prodotti hanno altre caratteristiche che li rendono i compagni perfetti per l'estate, per i viaggi e - perché no? - per la piscina, come nel mio caso. Vediamole:
la crema
dà una mano a tenere lontano zanzare e altri noiosi insetti perché la menta e il rosmarino (che sicuramente loro sentono molto più di noi) gli sono sgraditiil gel doccia
oltre a detergere la pelle del corpo, lava BENISSIMO i capelli. Forse mi trovo addirittura meglio usando questo per i capelli che lo shampoo che Harvinder mi ha fatto provare. Per il mio cuoio capelluto tendenzialmente grasso è perfetto: purifica, ma non seccaentrambi
possono essere usati sul viso. Sulla mia pelle mista, sia la lozione che il gel, funzionano benissimo (dopo aver usato il gel sento comunque la necessità di applicare la crema) l'erogatore è perfetto perché permette di prendere il prodotto senza sprechi ed evitando che nel contenitore ci finisca dell'acqua Perfect companions for next summer and not only...Besides having fragrances that are perfect for the upcoming season, these two products have other characteristics that make them perfect companions for summer, for trips and - why not? - for the swimming pool, just like in my case. Let's take a look at them:
the lotion
it can help to keep away mosquitoes and other flying nasties because mint and rosemary (that they can smell more than us) do not please them at allthe shower gel
besides being perfect on the body skin, it cleans my hair PERFECTLY. Maybe I like it even more than the shampoo Harvinder chose for me. It is just perfect for my scalp that tends to be oily: it purifies without drying upboth
they have a very practical dispenser that makes it easy to take the product withoug wasting it and preventing water from pouring inside they can be used on one's face. The lotion, my combination skin, works fine even if I need to apply some cream after using it Prezzi e dove comprarliIl gel doccia costa circa 12 € per 200 ml di prodotto, mentre la crema circa 13 (sempre 200 ml).
Quando Harvinder mi ha inviato questi prodotti e quando ho scritto le prime due recensioni, in Italia Saach non era ancora venduta da nessun negozio. I prodotti si potevano comprare solo su Love Lula, di cui vi ho già parlato. Adesso, però, c'è una fantastica bioprofumeria a Trieste che vende Saach!!! Si tratta di La Bio Cosmetique, gestita dalla gentilissima Serena, che ha una selezione veramente interessante di marchi (oltre a Saach: John Master Organics, The Organic Pharmacy, Couleur Caramel, Herb Sardinia, Faby Line smalti, Madara, K pour Karitè,100% Pure). Effettuano spedizioni in tutta Italia al costo di 6,90 € ...cosa aspettate a fare subito un ordine!?!
